In this demonstration I show you how to draw an old tractor using my classic line and wash watercolour technique. It was a fun and loose sketch with fineliner, fountain pen and watercolour painting. In this line and wash demonstration I talk about proportions in the drawing and what to leave out as I construct and work through the sketch. https://youtu.be/OguN336_Bp8A THREE PART SERIES.... of 'How to Simplify your drawing'. Tackling a landscape drawing is not easy. The best way I find when planning a drawing is to simplify the whole image into several layers. Splitting an image into foreground, midground and background breaks up the landscape into less intimidating sections. In this three part mini-series I will tackle three different examples. The first two were drawn and the last one was painted as well.
