In this urban sketching demo I use a octopus write and draw ink to loosely colour this fountain pen drawing of a couple of figures.  Thanks for joining me in this Urban Sketching Demo of a Chevy pick up truck. I show you with loose ink and watercolor how I go about creating this piece from laying out the drawing to finishing off the highlights. I use a fountain pen with waterproof ink and then watercolor paint to finish the artwork.  In this demo I use the Sailor Fude de Mannen fountain pen to create a lovely little, line and wash, lobster artwork. I draw and paint a cute little lobster for a birthday card buand its the perfect subject for the Sailor Fude de Mannen fountain pen. I love having a go at painting and drawing new subjects and this is my first lobster. It was really fun and the perfect excuse to get wobbly with my linework. In this simple and full length line and wash demonstration I tackle an abandoned desert truck with ink and watercolour. You can follow step by step creating some interesting textures and using simple techniques to sketch and paint. Line & wash is fab for beginners as its a straight forward and accessible form of creative artwork.  |
